He is not a client with us so he can't say any word about our services we have a good reviews posted in our previous offers.

  • How in any way, is this sustainable?

    $48/year = $4/month

    $4/month = 8GB VPS?

  • FlamesRunner said: How in any way, is this sustainable?

By buying cheap used servers from companies that had business models that were even less sustainable.

    Hard overselling

  • I wonder how many 8GB vps you can put on a 32GB server...

  • I would like to know CPU model, cores and policy on CPU usage.

We don't sell 8gb ram with this price , the deal is on yearly plans and we have clients from let since 1 year they can say how the service running

We don't have any used servers all servers are new

We have more than 4 dedicated servers and 3 for vps's and 1 for shared and reseller plans. our servers still fresh and we have clients based on monthly terms pay more than this amount in this offer.

    We have Intel xeon-1240V2 server

  • Test file and ip please

  • Pretty good deal. I have a Waveride 4gb VPS that's up for renewal soon and even with my old Black Friday deal, it's $38 USD a year. $10 more a year with you for twice the memory and disk is too good to pass up. Would make a good Plex server.

Some notes as I've just signed up:

    • No advertising of CPU usage policies (How many cores do we get? Can we use all of them? If it's "be nice to the neighbors on your node", then what is considered excessive?)
    • No IPv6 from what I can see. I'll message support and ask
    • Came advertised as coming with 2 IP addresses, but only one seems to have been assigned. I'll message support and ask
    • On purchase, it asks what OS you want installed, but it doesn't actually install the OS. You have to log into the control panel and install from there
    • Re-installing doesn't seem to work and the VPS won't boot in SolusVM. Maybe the admins manually set up the VPS? Seems off since I got the email from SolusVM with my connection information telling me that the server was ready.
    • Reverse DNS doesn't appear settable in SolusVM. I'll message support about that too later. I don't really send emails, I just like setting everything up right.

Once I get things set up, I'll run some benchmarks for everyone.
