lol. And you feel using 1-2 core all the time is not using your processor ?

  • Pretty sure you are, you open a thread every day.

  • I have a 16 core PC at my work place with an average load of 12-15. Why waste your resource?

Why do you need to ask? If that's how you feel, stop spending so much time looking at and replying to general chat and only use it for productive/work purposes.

Nope. I need distractions. If I don't frequently take my mind off of a task, simple solutions tend to become less obvious. It's when I look away that I have good ideas.

You seem addicted, OP. You open wayyyy to many new threads!
Anyway, no I don't feel addicted. I like looking around but am not on it "24/7" like @jarland here :P

No, visits is seperate sessions I am pretty sure, not neccessary when you log in and out. I can only presume that vanilla has a timeout period?

@Jack said: @Jacob pretty sure "visits" is sign ins not loads of index

  • I'm pretty sure visits are signins.

Also, being addicted to LET would be silly. That's like getting addicted to your drug dealer.

Seeing mixed comments on how they are counted, but the above seems to be correct.

    "$Configuration['Garden']['Session']['Length'] = '15 minutes';"

@Zen said: Visits = logins, not actual visits.

So, either it's disabled, broken, or I've never signed in.

If I close the browser and open it back up, it counts up one. It takes a few minutes to update. That's my take anyway ;)

Definitely log in's, I've only got 712, I know I definitely visit at least 40 times a day. Sometimes I keep refreshing waiting for new threads or replies at school. But 712 is too low for a year and a half at these forums.

  • I check it every morning when I get up.. refresh often. I love LET, it's a good brain break.. and watching the rather petty drama :)

Logout, tin foil hat people go away

  • Wouldn't say addicted but it's definitely one of 3 or so of my goto places as soon as I fire up the browser :)

  • Fire up my browser...

I hit up Facebook, LET, Gmail, HUKD, and RamNode's Tickets.

I then slowly move to e-bay, LEB, IPTorrents and finally, my faithful seedbox...

I never log out either, so it can't be manual logins. I mean sure on occasion I have to login but not very often.

    671 for me

  • Kind of. I m always logged in and checking about like 10 times a day

  • @jarland I also think the same, this is not logins.

I have not logged in 1K+ times.

If I close the browser and open it back up, it definitely adds a number. Not immediately, but it adds one. It could act differently by browser I suppose? I use Safari almost exclusively. I've added 4 to it since I posted the number.

I don't feel addicted, been banned and after I settled the rumours that i was banned because I was supporting DDoSers, I went off to other stuff untill I accidentally came here after a google search and I saw myself signed in.
Addicted is when you cant stop and feel compelled to do something.
Having fun here, that is not addicted.

  • This is addiction. The actual main headlines was "She won't stop even when she bleeds".
