Hi,
Bugs Fixed, and uploaded on Github.
By the way DotAL where is your hosting at? Cause wow the ping feature is getting some really odd numbers.
Hi,
I hate that host dont mention it :P its slow and shitty but the thing is that like i said its not using the linux ping but a fsocket with microtime. See the function ping_socket and you will udnerstand why its giving those odd numbers .
@DotAL well then why don't you move it? I am sure I would be happy to host this project.
Perhaps you can get 256MB OpenVZ VPS for $5/m from Dot.AL?
Wait.
@mojeda, yeah why didnt i think about it ahaha
@24khost, i wouldnt mind a free host :P but i think for now its good where it is (just lazy atm :P )
okay offering. still open if you want to just email me [email protected]
That ping output looks like output from the windows command, weirdly enough.
I may build something on top of this with extra functionality, we'll see.
@Wintereise, Because i was running it on my localhost on windows this is why its looking like windows
Feel free to use/edit/share and add extra things
As for tracerout there are 2 options with OpenSocket which on 99% of the cases is blocked by the host.
or with exect which is still blocked by the host but its a nicer way of doing a trace route.
Maybe i can add in the admin (when i will do it ) the feature to enable/disable it.
What do you think
I think you need to fork this with your sudo ping
and then one with real ping and one with trace.
That way there is no configuring back and forth.
maybe add different locations to ping?
You could host it here for free as well:
http://1.ai/
@dedicados, thats a pretty advance feature. I mean the script is mostly for a general purpose and trying to ping it with different location which means servers it will be a hard task . Well maybe if the project goes well i can even add multi location monitoring etc.
@DotAL Tossed it on http://trackuptime.com/ though its currently on one of my shared servers I at least have something to use the domain for.
@HC_Ro, there are some small updates on the hostchecker, just download the script and upload the upload folder (including config.php (dont forget to add again the database) )
In the upcoming week i will add.
Keep up the good work @DotAL.. very nice!
Hey guys i have an awesome update for you ^_^...
If you want different templates for the script just go here: http://bootswatch.com download the CSS and replace it and your script will have a different look.
