Looking for VPS for gameserver in UK or NL

Hey

I'm looking for a VPS on where i can run a Gameserver (cod4)
Location needs to be UK or NL

They need to allow Gameserver hosting (duh..)
OS Linux

What i atleast need:
512MB Ram
15GB HDD
1TB Traffic

Price ofcourse under the LEB pricerange

    I thought CoD Dedicated Server was Windows only? Or is that just the newer games? I'm not sure TBH.

    All cod series till cod 5 runs on Linux, currently got 4 servers already running on linux :)

    Not the uk or bl but france. Vpsdeploy, ran several mw2 servers on it :)

    NodeDeploy has a great UK location though I can't speak to latency as I am in the colonies. Their TOS doesn't seem to prohibit gameservers.

    @dominicl @ihatetonyy Thanks for the mentions guys! Gameservers are allow as long as you don't get nasty UDP floods or have a minecraft server with 9,001 plugins that destroy CPU.

    Can a LEB really handle a COD4 Gameserver? I always wondered because I would love to set one up as well.. COD2 & COD4 are the only two CODs we regulary play with a couple of friends

    Don't see why not? Assuming you don't have too many players, it should be more than fine.

    running 2 cod4 servers with a total of 76 slots on a LEB :D

    I would be really interested to see the virt-top -3 and cpu load figures from a 76 slot 512MB COD 4 server from the host node :)

    load average: 0.50, 0.59, 0.61

    people are thinking to bad about CoD servers. They aren't that bad. As long as they got a good I/O speed for loading maps and a reasonable network :)

    That's on 1GB VPS with a total of 76 slots
    And also a TS3 server with around 70-80 people online at the same time every day

    Alright, so one 18 slots COD4 should rune fine on 512MB RAM :)
    What tutorial did you follow to set it up?

    Don't know anymore, i'm having cod4 servers for like 3 years now
    But a quick google should work

    CoD4 isn't hard to setup.

    Extract CoD4,
    Place server.cfg in /main
    Download cod4_lnxded
    Start cod4_lnxded with command line arguments.

    If you got any questions regarding basic setup send me a message. also If you need a cod4 mirror I still got it on a server so I can give it to you.
