I don't like them either, I should really change them. Didn't finish them
I strongly recommend you stop advertising on HF. Advertising there always causes trouble in one way or another. There are various other hosts on here that believed it was "no big deal" (I forgot which ones) and later found out that it didn't work out as well as they had thought.
Except it's not that easy, crappy gigabit PHP DoS shells are easily obtained, and you're going to be in a world of pain with your provider if you are met with constant DDoS attacks. Never will you even know the real origin of the attack.
@joepie91
Will tell my partner to junk the thread.
@solarvm Why do the 'cloud' servers on the page redirect to localhost? The bottom 'Cisco' etc links also go to localhost.
The domain isn't even a month old and you haven't even locked down the .net. Your TOS lists a number of USA related regulations and terms, and yet it states the agreement is in accordance with the laws of the 'state' of London. I could go on...
All just seems rushed and half-assed to me.
They may not care about what you're sending, but I'm pretty sure they will care about what you receive.
@joepie91
As long you don't go over your BW limit (100TB) then it is no problem. 1Gbit is unshared , thats what they told me.
How much are you paying for that 1gbit "unshared"? It sounds very unlikely to me...
€155-€170/mo for a 2 x 1TB , Dual E5506's , 12GB RAM , 100TB on gigabit.
Yeah, no way you're going to have dedicated gbit for that price.
@joepie91
Ecatel is a high bandwidth provider, they can do so as they have the capacity. Thats one of the main reasons I have gone with them.
That doesn't mean that your gbit is "dedicated".
It doesn't matter if they are a "high bandwidth" provider. If they promise unshared (read: dedicated) gbit, that means they reserve a whole gigabit of bandwidth for you alone. That gigabit of bandwidth is probably going to cost them more (in paying their upstreams) than you are paying them for the whole server. That just won't work. The numbers simply don't add up.
@joepie91
I remember my friend getting DDoSed his Ecatel dedi and they just nulled the IP in question.
I achieve 1Gbit easily and they really said UNSHARED in their sales email. So I suppose if they say so it is true.
Sounds like unshared for the 100TB they offer. It's called capping. Just marketing speak.
The question is how often they will endure this before they get annoyed.
That doesn't mean it's unshared. That just means that apparently they have enough bandwidth to ensure that you get a gigabit of bandwith (note that ensuring is something very different from dedicating).
Because noone ever lies or exaggerates when selling stuff, especially in the sales department.
Those hrefs....
Don't bash others when you are there yourself.

Even though that doesn't proof that it's Phil (or does it?) those are nonetheless retarded posts.

It's a pretty empty site, and something that bothers me, put a 0 in the number for us UK folks, in brackets or whatever.
@Steven.N None of those post links to phil from nodedeply or nodedeply promoting there. Unless I am not seeing something I am supposed to see.

@NHRoel I'm sure you wouldn't want to buy hosting or services from a "legal company" who gets excited that they own a company and decide to post on HackForums to brag about it along with a quick search of Cybergate RAT which turns out to be a virus hacking into peoples computers

@Patrick @Zen @Steven.N two wrong doesn't make one right, does it?
@Zen my bad. I misunderstood your comment. I was replying to this ^
On browsers with no JS (I'm using noscript) it should reveal on the homepage instead of staying hidden.
Yeah yeah, I know trying to work around that is stupid but I think it would be a good practice to make sure it works no matter what
I like the general layout of the site, maybe a little more content in the bottom section, and you'll have a winner.
