VPS/Cloud in Asia & AU
Hi.
Looking for a provider that offers a VPS or Cloud VPS in Australia and Asia.
Only 1 provider please.
I'd prefer Hong Kong, but anywhere in Asia is fine, really.
I know of HostHatch, but I need 2 IPv4 on each VPS.
I did contact them. Not sure if it went through as I got no ticket confirmation e-mail.
Bonus points if they can offer Anycast IP's.
Requirements are as followed:
CentOS 7
1GB RAM
1 Core or equal-share
20GB Disk Max
Budget of $10 or less (USD) per month.
cPanel DNS-Only will be installed on said server. 1GB RAM is needed, I will not go for less.
Thanks.

Dediserve? Don't know if theres any promo right now
They're great and all, but the minimum of $16.45 is over budget.
I honestly don't care if it's cloud or VPS. Just need root access and ability to install cPanel DNS Only.
Edit: dediserve is near $20 with 2 ip's.
Than you could wait for the next 50% off promo
Or if NZ is also ok: http://lowendbox.com/blog/zappie-host-new-zealand-vps-offers-starting-at-225-month-for-a-512mb-openvz/
Edit: Seems like that promo is also not valid anymore
Also they don't have an Asian offering....
Can try our network, we have good peering to Asia https://igniteservers.com we have LG for LAX location. We also have some pretty LEB 1GB containers with good storage.
Australia/NZ and Asia only, please.
The need for geographical DNS.
Main server is in the US, so it doesn't make sense to have DNS in USA also.
would India work? if yes, contact leapswitch. For Hong Kong or singapore, contact @dediserve.Both of them are rock solid.
About the budget part, they just relaunched their london location.@dediserve might be able to get you a good deal.
Why do they both have to be with one provider? Surely two separate providers add a layer of resilience.
RansomIT does AU and there were a few Asian locations offered by hosts on LEB.
You could take a look at DigitalOcean in Singapore.
Most Australian providers are expensive, but is worth checking at WebHostingTalk.com.au --> many post their offers there.
You can also browse a local discussion forum called Whirlpool.
just fuck off. that not in ASIA
$10/month for both? If that for each server and you can purchase from 2 different provider then (singapore) Linode +
AU
RansomIT
VULTR
binarylane.com.au $0.9 over your budget
or in 1 provider
VULTR (JP + AU)
Do you have any approx bandwidth consumption per month? As most APNIC's bandwidth cost are expensive. While some of most Asia Pacific providers won't let you have more than 1 IP per VPS (or even per server)
Take a look at HostUS Hong Kong offers.
I dont think I said it was in Asia I said we have good peering to Asia.
Why would anyone do anycast with only 2 "Asian" locations? That makes zero sense, essentially a waste of a /24+....
HostUS has some cheap HK plans with a good amount of bandwidth
@William - Asia and Australia anycast.
I say 1 provider due to ease of bills, mostly.
I already have a VPS with Exigent. I know AU bandwidth is expensive - I live there!
Paying $130 for 200GB Internet on ADSL2+.
Anyway it's cPanel DNS only. So bandwidth use would be low.
Hosthatch got back to me, I'll most likely choose them.
Or stay with Exigent, switch to Binary Lane. Not sure totally.
And I probably wont choose Vultr, after sending a ticket asking if they use RAID, in true Vultr fashion they dodged the question. Giving some information whilst not really answering the question. So for lack of better words - "fuck them". Plus their AU location has some bad press here anyway.
Along with that, ModulesGarden is apparently offering a cPanel plugin for Rage4. Who knows. I have enough to work with - so thanks for all of your responses.
Yea that makes zero sense - You then need geodns in front then (which invalidates the usage case) to get IPs near the client or all traffic runs to AU/Asia even from like DE....
Hong Kong's recommendation
T-Special-OpenVZ - HK

In Asia we have Singapore and HongKong, but I don't think our pricing is what you were after.
