ffmpeg CentOS install (v1.0+)

I needed to install ffmpeg 1.0+ to help a customer but found the lack of a quick usable guide to get the current version working a bit difficult, I hope this helps somebody looking for the same.

If you use most of the guides to install using a yum repo and "yum install ffmpeg" you will end up with version .6.5 which is unusable by some scripts. If you use http://trac.ffmpeg.org/wiki/CompilationGuide/Centos guide as root you end up installing it in the root folder which can't be used by apache. A quick easy fix is to change "cd ~/ffmpeg_sources" and "$HOME/bin" to "cd /usr/local/ffmpeg_build" and "/usr/local/bin".

ffmpeg executable path will be /usr/local/bin/ffmpeg

Here is all the commands for a quick install:
