  • +1 for singapore location. digitalocean, aws provide cheap vps in india

  • There are two DC's available at now
One in Delhi and Mumbai for another.

    Both with KVM $5 1gb

Good latency for Asia, this was great.

To show that we are getting old. ;)

Let's not make it a political thread, use Cest-Pit. So no need to mention Kashmir without any context in here.

India a very big country with very different peering from different points in the country.
I have some experience with clients from India (many), and mostly always they had a better connection to Europe (Germany mostly (https://www.rootnerds.com/), and Italy (http://www.prometeus.net/site/)) rather to Asia (Singapore / Hong-Kong, etc) I don't know why...

(i know why because traffic goes India -> EU -> USA -> Usa West -> Singapore).

I am sure it's not the case with all major/ core ISP's of India.

If I remember correctly many core ISP's have direct connection to Singapore from east cost of India.

Prometeus has multiple uplink providers, some top tier ones as well.
