My personal preference is spinning up a Vultr windows instance for an hour to mount any virtual media, get through the install and then kill the instance. Think it's about $0.04/hr
Sure thing, thanks!:)
SMB via WAN is eh though. Check Skype, i borrow you a VPS
Thanks @William, you save my day! :-)
? Which plan are you talking about?
Compute Instance -> Select Windows 2012.
I was looking at the custom ISO one, any reason why that won't work?
@MrGeneral PM me if you still need one
Works fine as well.
What @William said.
I'm just lazy. I hit launch on a 2012 instance and I get an RDP login, jump in.. install a couple things quickly and I'm ready to go. If I did it often I would just create a snapshot and launch new instances from that.
I would do the same if I only needed it once, but if more than that I would spend some time find an ISO and then launch it from there. Every bit of savings will add up XD (please don't blame be for being cheap haha)
@William got me a VPS to do it, thanks, though, I do appreciate! :-)
