I guarantee you my insurance company has and they pay the bill, so by proxy, yes.
Hm, there's a stigma about docs being insured against medical liabilities here ("if he was good, he wouldn't need to insure") so most don't but yeah. Still, I suppose you too choose your doc by means of "word of mouth", yes?
