    Yes, but that's a useless number for 99.99999% of applications. So, it satisfies the e-peen crowd too, I guess.

    Additional IOPs and sequential read do absolute nothing for performance unless they are actually needed. You can produce an SSD that does 1,000,000 IOPs per second, 10,000,000 - your applications won't run any faster.
