Thx I'll try that. As far as I was able to find out Tox uses hardcoded servers to find peers, which is why I don't use it. Does anyone know more about this?

I second this, Hipchat has horrible reliability.
EC2 just had an outage too.. lots of problems for popular web services the past 24 hours.
It looks like it is back online now.
Still, EC2 wasn't down for 18 hours.
Yep exactly, multiple outages/issues monthly > with their latest issue that occurred a few weeks ago people were reporting to be unable to connect to HipChat for over 8 hours.
