Looking for a KVM VPS in Singapore with good routing to India for a Website with Indian Traffic

Looking for a 2GB RAM KVM VPS in Singapore with good routing to India for a Website with Indian Traffic. Most of the Visitors are from India so the response times should be good from India.

Please Give me your Suggestions.

BTW, Is there any VPS providers in South India ? Chennai ?

Yes, Even Better....But I get around 500 Online at the most, I currently run them on a Vultr Server in France -> 2gb ram 2 vcpu with nginx and redis cache. So does the OpenVZ affect the performance much compared to KVM.

BTW...Which is better of this two?

I have heard about Leapswitch but not about Micronetvps, but micronet looks more affordable, is there any catch ?

http://littlehappycloud.net save a buck and use NAT.

+1 for leapswitch. I have a vps with them, no issues so far micronet did some exciting offers some time back, check with them if they are still active. In Singapore, DO comes in my mind.@dediserve mentioned to migrate all xen platforms to kvm, not sure about estimated eta

Thanks for all the mentions, Curently liking Micronet due to their plans, much cheaper than Leapswitch but does Leapswitch have any advantage ?

I really won't order anything from a provider who doesn't have time to replace default whmcs logo.This is not new, these guys haven't updated their whmcs logo from long time and AFAIK micronet use leapswitch to provide their services. search about reviews of both companies before coming to a final conclusion
on checking both sites, I see leapswitch offers more bandwidth.

+1 Leapswitch, used both and none of them have an issue but I do prefer Leapswitch

South India would be difficult, HostVirtual could be one

I would not say its great but its decent I get 140 - 150ms latency even connecting from singapore itself.

Sadly there are no direct links between Russia and India, and they'd get lower ping (~120ms) to an Europe location such as Paris, than to Russia.

As for the topic's general theme, I'd reiterate that DO SG is unbeatable at the moment, keep in mind it's currently as a matter of fact providing unmetered bandwidth for $5 in Singapore, and Singapore itself has wonderful low-latency routing to India (typically 60-70ms or so).
