DDOS protected VPS

I'm looking for a DDOS protected VPS for an hobby project. The risk of an attack is low at the moment but the potential is high because it could inconvenience some botnet-happy people. Any location is fine, I need about 1GB RAM, 2 CPUs and 10GB SSD disk from a sensible company. No OVH please. Nothing illegal or unethical - the opposite actually.

I spoke to BuyVM yesterday but it seems everything's out of stock. I'm happy to take recommendations or offers. $10-15/month would be good if possible.

I found X4B.net and since it's the same protection as BuyVM but in stock, I signed up with them. The control panel's perfect. I might do a review if it works well.

They aren't too bad, they utilize filtering providers such as Staminus (great) but their protection is on a per-IP basis and not included in the primary IP of the instance.

If he hasn't switched recently, it was London (which sometimes means filtering via Frankfurt, yeah).

Also, looks like all the services include now reactive DDoS mitigation, which makes the offer ridiculously cheap.
