Thanks @Mahfuz_SS_EHL. Yes, ssl was poorly configured. I have fixed the chain issues.

I will try to fix the SNI issue.

I will try to get the name out there, and start advertising when there is more auctions posted.

  • @Pat_ServerAuction, just disable SSL and use full HTTP.

You have to chain the trust certificates for it to work in every browser!

Mostly because Android hates Comodo PositiveSSL :P

  • Pretty nice :)

The site works fine, but you'd have to clear your cache if you accessed the site before. I had it set to 301 all traffic to https, and now I disabled ssl. The server is **suppose to ** redirect https traffic to http, but for some reason it doesn't. If you have accessed the site before and have it in cache, it redirects you to the https site and it's showing the self-signed certificate garbage.

HSTS status doesn't go away when you clear your browser's cache, FYI, by design. It can be done, but you have to go out of your way into debug stuff.

I don't mean this to be condescending, but if you don't fully know what you're doing and think there's even a chance you'll have to turn SSL off at some point, you shouldn't use HSTS. Otherwise you risk making your site inaccessible to users for the duration of the cached max-age headers (which can be a very long time).

  • Isn't this more like "VPS and dedicated services auction"? I was expecting there to be hardware to buy here, but it looks like some sort of list for services?

I also thought it to be a Hardware Auction but later found it to be Dedicated Server Services Auction :/

  • Looks good man, pretty nice idea for a business id say.
