  • Maybe RamNode? :]

  • I think he needs it yearly lol

  • Really? :/

  • @WHT you are fast....

I was just about to make that edit

Edit: Not sure about Skrill, sorry. The payment types listed are Paypal & Bitcoin & Credit Card (via Stripe) but maybe if you contact him, he might work something out for you.

MyCustomHosting.net's latest offer (http://www.lowendtalk.com/discussion/62057/my-custom-hosting-canada-kvm-premium-ddos-protection-native-ipv6-e5-s-ssd-cached-no-bs) has this plan

    Plan Name: LET-AUG-512MB-10GB-4TB-YEARLY
    Virtualization Platform: KVM
    Guaranteed RAM: 512 MB
    Swap: 512 MB
SSD Cached Disk Space: 10 GB
    Premium Transfer: 4096 GB
    IP Space: 1 IPv4 + /112 IPv6
    CPU Cores: 2
    Yearly Cost: $18
    Order Link: https://billing.mycustomhosting.net/cart.php?a=add&pid=137

Please make sure you read the offer fully as he uses RAID-0 for the drives, so you will need to keep backups (or pay for backups that he can keep for you).

However, from my experience, I've been very happy in general, and the VPS has performed well.

    Some fairly old benchmarks at:

  • @WHT ...You wont believe this...But I never had any Problems with GVH ...and I am sure crissic wasn't shit....

  • So what about arubacloud? ..They any good or not?...Some thing similar to that....My mastercard is not working right now

  • @YellowHummingbird
Yes I read that....AFAIK the only problem with that package is skrill non availability ....

Skrill is not among hoster's favourites, but I know several ones cause I use Skrill too. Do you really need a KVM VPS? If OVZ virt and HDD storage is OK, you can get more bang for the buck with @AlexanderM (HostUS), for example. They are reliable and accept Skrill payments (on request) - check their 768MB RAM $10/y offer out.

It doesn't matter what he uses, you still need to take your own backups.

Indeed... I suppose I should have said "A higher risk of data loss" :)

  • @bersy
Most of my boxes are for development and rarely for production. The offer you posted is amazing .But the thing is I never had a KVM Box .And also If it's a KVM I know the resources are dedicated

That is not necessarily so, esp for $20/yr.

  • @Bersy
    Isn't KVM not oversold?

    KVM can be oversold.

Yes Ram about 20% but not disk space.

  • @WHT
Thanx..I might buy that 512MB KVM plan using friends MasterCard

Not sure where that figure was pulled from, disk can be oversold. It all depends how you have it setup, even LVM's, you can thin-provision. It's not as simple as OpenVZ - oversold zomg!!! and KVM is perfect.

  • @infinity thanx for the info

I have got a offer for you not sure if I already posted it to you or not.
I can accept skrill but I would have to find out a way to tie into skrill from blesta.
can I ask though why don't you just link your bank account to paypal?
as that is what I did when my mastercard from my bank didn't work because they had a ban in place in California and Texas. and I was able to pay like normal
    anyway back to the offer
I can give you that amount of ram or more(as I have a 24gb server node the ssd system is running off of.)
I can give you 2 cores?
yes my ssd node has 1gbit connectivity.
I would give you 10tb bandwidth more can be discussed and negotiated on a sales ticket
yes as far as I am aware my ssd node is in atlanta,ga in quickpackets dc
so is the budget per month or what? as I would need to know that to be able to give you a exact price.
my tos link is here: https://cubedata.net/Terms.htm
I will message you the benchmarks as I don't give out benchmarks test ip's etc in public.

  • No, his price is per year.

okay well if his price is well per year for under $20?
I don't know how that would work out that is way too low for per year maybe per month but per year yea he would be hard pressed to find that.

  • WHT said: Yes Ram about 20% but not disk space.

Yea.. no - I can oversell KVM on LVM (thin provisioning), on QCOW2 (internal thin provisioning), as RAW on ZFS (ZFS compression)....

Then oversell RAM (vballoon and memory remap/deduplication), and CPU (no scheduler anyway)...

KVM can be oversold the same as OVZ, just not as easy.

  • I wonder what KSM is for then.
