You can't buy from CT directly

China Telecom DO officially sell VPSes. www.ctyun.cn
But if you need dedicated servers... you really need to contact resellers who rent racks @ CT DCs.

  • iamm said: Is Ukrtelecom the one that provides DDoS protection?

IIRC they did run antiddos.biz plus their own stuff for commercial customers, never heard it was much popular outside RU/UA though (probably due to website language) but it was/is able to tank nicely.

Yep, their "cloud" line, never tested but they use newer IPs that probably have an existing abuse email - Maybe worth a try for some things, but surely not as "rogue" as a DC customer can do (also yields more power against CT than you with a single VPS)

  • Just a question , anyone remember LizardSquad and e6l?

e6l.su - bulletproof, dedicated, vps, seo, proxy, domain.

Anders hosted E6L. I'm sure they'd be one of the closest things to bulletproof if you could colocate with them.

For dedicated servers, maybe the whole 222.186.x.x /16 block is blacklisted. Some CT DCs does not care port scanners and mass mailing.

Also, there r no way to sent abuse complaint email to CT.

    Yea... no.

Jiangsu CT (and some others) HAVE working mail/abuse mailboxes, but even then it is not guaranteed that they actually act on anything.

  • krebsonsecurity.com/2014/12/lizard-kids-a-long-trail-of-fail/
Zeast mentioned LizardSquad...I remember Krebs writing an article on lizardstresser.su - Apparently it took advantage of hacked routers to provide basically a ddos for hire service. They were hiding it behind cloudflare, but apparently when it finally went down, they found it was hosted in Bosnia. Which there is hardly any hosting providers in Bosnia...I went searching and found 2 only. Bosnia has to be pretty resilient hosting a ddos tool from lizard squad and all.

Anyone know where https://phonebomber.net is hosted? Apparently thats lizard squads new service.

Lizardstresser was on this DC until the database was hacked. Then they went to Voxility (shenron.su / lizardstresser.su)

    EDIT: 5.254.116.5 (Voxility)

How OVH and ctrlservers.com and SoftLayer.com aren't added in the list? (consider this question means "Add OVH, ctrlservers, SoftLayer" to the list.)

  • Thanks for the share however as said above, i do agree with some of them

  • sorry for necro-ing this topic, but do you have some updates regarding warez friendly hosts?

Where can I signup for the list?

  • We use CuracaoWebhosting.com, they are only expensive if you intend to stream or sell anything that requires high bandwidth usuage. Sadly not all jurisdictions are like the US where you can snap up bandwidth for pennies. Case in point, we have a CuracaoWebhosting.com dedicated server in the US with all the bells and whistles plus a 100Mbps connection for 60 EUR.

Generally we go with a 29 EUR shared account plan, hook it up to Cloudflare, CDN, compress our files and all in all write half decent software and we barely dent clients BW allowance.

Note the law is not US law, its Dutch law which as you should know is quite liberal.

Any updates about other companies to have comparision?

Bulletproof hoster with domain at namecheap hiding behind whoisguard and hosted at amazon. Yeah, right. Whatever you say man.

If there's one thing I love my bulletproof spam and malware hosts to be, it's having their site in US/EU jurisdiction, hosted on a US provider, and with a US domain registrar, on a $1 domain from two months ago

Exactly. I am also amazed how they don't even bother to hide behind mitmflare since obviously their genius setup lets them tank any abuse without even blinking.

  • I thank @William for his extensive list, alone for the fact that it could help people understand that there is no such thing as a bulletproof host. Plus: The more "off-shore" and "bulletproof" noise they make, possibly even in their name, the less they actually deliver.

And necro-waking this thread is positive. There always plenty idionewbies with the "best off-shore hoster?" question.

Let me add some peace of advice: Like generally with security, you have to fucking specify what you want to protect and against what to get anything like a useful answer.

A short remark re. Russia: We should understand that Russia_1998 != Russia_2018. Nowadays they are dead serious about legality and laws (not really surprising as their president has studied law and is known to be quite fanatic about everything needing to be legal and proper). So, about the only good thing internet evildoers can expect is that Russia is powerful enough to tell the fbi to fuck themselves if they don't have a legally clean and watertight demand. Besides China, Russia is in an extremely small group of countries which actually care about legality and don't move an inch under fbi pressure; well, they are strong enough to laugh it off; most other countries just dance to whatever tunes the us-americans play, no matter how much they blabber about "democracy" and "law".

Not at all easy times for criminals on the internet - just the way I like it.

After 2 years it's probably fine to start a new one unless you are a spammer like this guy then you obviously should do neither.
