Free Virtualization for linux & Windows OS ?

Hi ,

I am new here .

I got a dedicated server , and i want to create two-three VM out of it .

I want a windows VM and Linux VM , on the server .

So , which Virtualization software i can use ? ( with web gui)

I tried proxmox looks really nice , but can not figure it out , how to create linux vm , getting different error every time

If you can't figure out Proxmox then I highly doubt you'd be able to use another hypervisor...

That being said "Create CT" and "Create VM" will create VM's for you in Proxmox.

CT = OpenVZ container = Linux only

VM = Any OS

I already tried CT option , and i get some error , when starting the container

If you're getting errors. Try installing Proxmox OS. It gives you proxmox with fully configured.

Free unless you want support and more stable updates (IIRC).

Last time I tried it, it asks me for a license, if I don't provide one it keeps popping up. And when looking at the pricing page, there isn't a free option. Lost in the woods since then.

anyone know if that repo has new code than the OS download ?

for €5/m support, it's not a lot more to buy SOlusVM/Virtualizor. so either use for free, or pay for the better ones. also, virtualizor is included with some dedi servers
