They get a +1 from me just for that statement. I'm tired of reading "our datacenter" and/or "we operate our own datacenter" here and elsewhere and then it's discovered that they're leasing or something similar.
In my search for that European rack provider, I've contacted a couple different providers only to discover such when they pass me along to the true operators.
Nice to see someone honest about their setup.
Rackcenter = Redstation?
Their network is really fast from here, I had a VPS at SimplexWebs and it was dead fast on Redstation.
@vmport can ppl pay weekly lol
Yeah infinity Rackcenter1 to be specific one of their 2 colocation facilitys. Been with them going on 2 month and had no issues with them so far so im happy
Forgot to add that the UK node's are running with 1Gbit uplinks
@drmike
Thank's for that, i never have understood why people make out they own the world
@damonb
Nope but we have been asked several times tonight about that haha
Quick Update
We are almost out of stock in our US, Kansas facility! Thank you for your business guys
Ashley question. What is different about VMport than another provider of vps?
I do it because i enjoy it, not because i need the money :P
And i am determined to see it through and see it do well. Im sick of working for other people haha
And what if you suddenly stop enjoying this?
Why would he suddenly stop enjoying this? :P
there is no way he would not enjoy it have you not heard of the view of chorus from his window lol whats not to love lmao
@breton
If i have enjoyed losing money when i had no reason too (I was a fully qualified electrical engineer, working full time) whilst setting up i cant see any reason why i would just lose interest now.
I recently stopped working and started working on VMPort full time and im enjoying it even more now, cmon i work for myself everyone loves to stick it to the man.
Like daimonb said, if you could see the view i have sat at my terminal, you would understand (What's better than a view of a smokey industrial estate) :P
In fact that just makes me appreciate the fact that again i work for my self and im not going to stop that anytime soon.
/life story
@VMport
would not change it for the world ether.
