  • I suggest https://www.xhostfire.com, they are in Novosibirsk and the connection is optimized for Asia and Euro countries. I test with China Telecom and the speed is pretty good. @deployvm

Actually not - The Russian laws do allow the gov to shutdown whatever they want whenever they want for whatever reason that fits them - It's filled under "National security" and "Obscenity", though many other countries have similar laws.

In direct contrast to say the US ones ... oh wait :|

No sorry. We are definitely out of stock due to no more available IP addresses. Please check our site regularly to see if some virtual machines are released due to cancellations.

In Sweden and Tatarstan, our nodes are full.

    +1 for @deployvm

It wasnt a problem with Bitcoin, but I had to do a Bitcoin->Yandex Money->payment hop, and you have to validate an ID there (ie provide a random number for a passport number).

For Yandex Money, it's only supposed to be used by Russian citizens. You must have submitted passport details to accept payment, but they don't check its valid initially. If you're located outside Russia, you have to go to their office or send a signed document with verification details.

Sadly, this seems to be true for most payment methods to Russian VPS providers.

For those interested, we have restocked our virtual machines in Siberia due to non-payment by some clients. We have one LET plan available right now. Other plans are available with stock control.

    Thanks.
