  • Finally some good CPU's! rather than the slow E5's

I bet Melissa is really happy about featuring in a PORN thread

Dunno about US, but in the UK that could be a very expensive post

I totally agree, I can see the lawsuit right now.

Yes sir!! The E3-1241v3's are very powerful and I have so much love and respect for them myself! The only drawback is it is limited to 32GB of RAM, so 95% of the time you will likely run out of RAM before you maximize the full power of the processor itself :p But the E3's are definitely a very good value.

The E5's are extremely powerful (especially when 2x processors are placed in a server) as well and can be used with a large amount of RAM.

@Bruce @MarkTurned do people in UK really take these things so seriously? You can't even joke because you fear lawsuits?

110% you cannot joke with someone. this is very serious. that's not my opinion, that's just a fact of how it works in Europe

Got to be careful over this stuff..

So what you are saying is nearly everyone in Europe is not loyal to their employer and obviously can't take a joke?

If so the rules which "govern" you are pathetic.

I'm in Europe too and i don't see any problem with the picture or with the comments below the picture.

I think the "political correctness" bullshit in some countries has gone WAY too far. Soon you won't be able to speak with anyone at all, because any word could offend the other party and result in a lawsuit.

  • This topic has gone off-topic pretty quickly... but I'm enjoying it :)

For those who'd like to meet our team in-person and are located within the Los Angeles area, PM me and let's setup a datacenter tour, and we'll hook you up with a free QuadraNet mousepads and 8GB USB stick too!

For an employer/co-worker to be publicly 'degrading' another, that could be construed harassment, defamation or anything.

Employers can get sued for everything in the UK.

Its just the get rich quick mentality, find someone to sue for whatever, sue and hope to get an out of court settlement. The mother of a friend of mine was in Tesco (supermarket) and she was reaching for some soft drinks on a high shelf and they came down on top of her, she's off suing Tesco for everything. Ludicrous.

the photo is fine. the comments are fine. but all you need is a savvy person suggest "you can get £100K for that" and the next thing you know you're facing legal action. The issue is the girl being associated with porn. that's all it takes. she only needs to claim she felt unhappy about it, work colleagues tease her "about being posted as porn", and bingo it's easier for a company to pay out than go to court.

Oh... My... God... That's insane amount of hardware. I bet they use a shit-ton of wattage when all of them are running.

  • TurnerTurner Member

Awesome stuff! Now when do we get to see them with their colorful lights? :D

I could really use a mousepad, but sadly am not even close to near XD
