Don't know who offers cheap HK boxes. Will Japan or Singapore do (LowEndSpirit)?
We are hosting an app targeting HK users which require lowest local ping. Tried LES Singapore and Linode JP, not really good for this use. Really hope LES can offer servers in HK location
maybe @anthonysmith has something planned, but other than that there's only gigsgigs.com (never used) and EDIS. neither are anywhere near LES prices
check with HostWithLinux @linuxthefish they provide NAT ipv4 HK ovz vps with $2/m, https://billing.hostwithlinux.net/order.php?step=0&productGroup=19
768MB RAM
700GB Bandwidth @ 100Mbps
1 CPU Core
20 Dedicated IPv6
10 ports on a SHARED IP address
Thanks, I am checking them out.
Thanks, but I need a fully virtualize server, KVM/XEN.
https://vps.to provides KVM in SoftLayer HK, and many more can be found at http://www.zrblog.net/tag/香港vps
oh, i didn't read you post carefully, then go for @dediserve 's HK node, maybe you could get their promotion as $5.5/m for 1G XEN.
HK traffic only?
See? There's market for NAT
SolusVM Password Input is plantext?
@Traffic, costs in HK mostly bandwidth. If only local HK bandwidth is needed then cost can be low.
Thanks guys! Got an great offer for my HK server. A little bit over my budget, but still very low end price.
@jacibhere mind sharing the offer?
If someone requires Azure A0 in Hong Kong, I could possibly provide it at a discounted price!
How can you do that, are you Azure partner?
I have a MSDN subscription tied to my Azure account, and I have spare credits that I'm not using. I don't want to keep wasting it further.
Yes, ClientExec does not have a password type field for this. It's stored as MD5 in SolusVM's database anyway!
Is that a typo?
