What location? Is the game server more RAM-intensive or more CPU-intensive?
OVH is usually good choice
Yeah, OVH is probably your best bet. Usually, you can get better prices through OVH resellers.
Well, it can be both, but usually CPU I guess.
OVH is the place.
I would recommend going for a dedicated server. So You Start has some good deals and you'll be able to get a lot from them for a minimal price.
Expensive lol
His max budget is only $75.00

`Intel XEON E3-1230 (4 x 3,2 GHz)
24 GB DDR3 ECC/REG
2 x 2.000 GB SATA
HW-Raid 2-Port`
btw Location is Germany .And they have http://servdiscount.com/en/technics/ddos-protection.html
+1 for servdiscount.com they are stable enough for they prices!
But they dont offer a ddos protection, so they are out, else, they are very good.
Game hosting companies have always been something I've been trying to avoid because of the crazy large amounts of DDoS attacks you'll face in that industry. And while OVH obviously has VAC, their locations are going to lead to a high ping for a lot of your friend's customers, which makes for a poor gaming experience. So maybe look for something a little more central to his clientbase to ensure a low ping even with DDoS filtering?
GRE TUNNELING BABY .
Webline Services is coming up with budget dedicated servers at $49.99. DDos Protection, Dual Core, 4GB Ram. What is your time frame for this
How much DDoS mitigation are you looking for?
