How much would it cost to get a 1Gbit port instead of 100mbps?
How many CPU cores? and is there any ddos protection on your servers?
I'm wondering that too. I've been looking around their website some and noticed that their Chicago location says this on the network page (http://theqhost.com/Network)

It would be a very appealing offer to me if free DDoS protection was included
Yes that page does mention DDoS protection but now sure how many gbps it is and which kind of attack it covers.
Also if he can tell us the number of Cores that will really help. It's not even mentioend on their website

"Unfortunately we can not deviate at all from this plan, so the higher port speed would not be available.
You'll get access to 4 shared CPU cores. If you're looking to utilize 100% cpu, you would want to get a dedicated server, with dedicated resources. We don't recommend openVZ for game servers, but we don't have a problem with you running them on your vps if you want.
We offer 1gbps / 1million pps of ddos protection in Chicago. We don't offer any further protection in that location.
LA has the most ddos protection - it comes with 10gbps / 30million pps free protection.
