And they're asking for 1k euros? Where are you from, if you don't mind me asking?

@skunk have you created ticket? I'm sure if you create one they'll solve issue. In the case when they'll not fix it ask them for escalating to administration. They do care about customers.

@inthecloudblog if you put in this tags

will be much better :)

Leaseweb is great for it's network speed. Don't expect high I/O since it's SAN storage.

@alexvolk : done. I can't complain of IO.

Me: Is the Save40 coupon one-time or recurring?
ie. if I select a monthly term, will I continue to get the 40% off after the first month, or only on first invoice
LeaseWeb Sales: the promotion is for the whole term of your contract until you cancel your server
Me: ok, but if it renews monthly or quarterly, that pricing will stay the same?
LeaseWeb Sales: Not entirely sure, i'm afraid that i would have our sales department follow you up on that questions.
Currently they are out of office but they can reply to your questions on monday if you would like?

Can someone confirm if It is recurring?

Yes it is recurring, I have several Leaseweb VPSes that I have purchased during their different sales (including this one) and the discount has always been recurring.

Thanked by 1inthecloudblog
• @inthecloudblog it's recurring for any period.

• I can only find 4.95 for S plan. Even I choose 36 months term, the price is still 3.465 before coupon. So, where's 3/month plan?

My mistake. 3/m seems to the the prices after coupon. By the way, do you know when their SG and HK offers will be ready?

@emre @inthecloudblog Could both of you please run a geekbench and post the results in here? :) I can't decide if to go with NL or DE, yet.

• I'm sorry I'm in the US.

Last day for the offer is today. Below is Manassas, VA (US) location benchmark. I only paid for a month, dd is somewhat slow but that's not very unusual. I imagine they have a solid/good network and their VPS's are likely to be stable / reliable compared to when they first started selling VPS's at this location. I may keep it not sure yet. Ramnode is my favorite for performance/cost followed by Vultr atm. Hard to find great providers... :p

Disk Speed

I/O (1st run) : 127 MB/s
I/O (2nd run) : 128 MB/s
I/O (3rd run) : 131 MB/s

So slow.
