Plesk Web Directory Question

I've always used about the same directory for all my domains in the past like with cPanel

Ex: Main Domain /public_html/

And other domains would go into /public_html/Domains/

Well with Plesk the main domain is always created in /httpdocs/

And I`ve always went with the same scheme as I did with cPanel /httpdocs/Domains/ for other domains.

But should I keep my main domain at /httpdocs/

and then other domains in there on main directory? or does it matter?

like /newdomain/

Sorry if its confusing

I always do /var /www/ as the main site, and then for others I put them in /var/domain1/, /var/domain2/ etc.

I don't like lots of subfolders in my main webserver directory so I do it this way, but it really doesn't matter as long as the webserver knows where they are

If you can just add a new subscription for each new domain. It then will be like this: /var /www/vhosts/domain1/httpdocs/, /var /www/vhosts/domain2/httpdocs/ . Or if you want to keep everything in one subscription just add new sites and they will automatically be added to subdirectories you chose within the /var /www/vhosts/maindomain/httpdocs/ as /newsite/ (you should be able to define the directory name of each new site) .

I will sidetrack but, this is Plesk related as well. How do you guys edit the templates for Apache and Nginx?

I don't want to edit the system generated files since they all claim any changes I do will be lost and I don't know how to change the master template for tweaks, ssl etc and then applying it for the existing sites I have.

    I went with

    /domin.tld
    /domain2.tlk
    etc

Instead of what I used to do. I had a break from Plesk for about 2 months, But Webuzo I kept having a ton of issues, so I started paying for my licence again along with a new server
