You need to add a DNS A record for domain.com and www.domain.com with that IP.

/ss is the directory because I have another domain that uses 107.155.83.21, and it works perfectly >> www.uConquer.Com

What is the "/ss"? Think you just need the "107.155.83.21" if setting up A record

Yeah I know that I can use same ip on more than one domain, but I want to use that directory on that domain, it's like another site

May you say more details please ?

  • You will have to setup virtual host in either apache or nginx or whatever web service you have running

okay I will google that and setup it and tell you what happened

  • definitely not with registrar nameserver registration. are you trying to redirect?

I don't know what system you're using, but that screenshot mentions url forwarding. unless you re forwarding to a different url, you should just be setting an a record. then of course setup a virtual host on your server.

No I don't want to redirect, I have one VPS that I wan't to host 2 websites on it, so the first one is at http://107.155.83.21/ and it's domain www.uconquer.com
and the other one suppose to be 107.155.83.21/ss but I can't connect it to the DOMAIN

  • BadawyBadawy Member

this explains it but it's on mac while I use windows :(

  • as the dear fellows had mentioned, you need to setup virtualhost for the 2 domains to work separately with identical IP

  • BadawyBadawy Member

    I use appserv

  • BruceBruce Member

    where you hosting this?

  • BadawyBadawy Member

    on my vps US hosted

what are the 2 domains you want to host?

have you now setup A records in DNS for both?

what OS on the VPS ?

    what webserver are you using?

how much/little do you know about doing this? I can guess :)
