[Help] New Setup VPS Utilised 700++Mb Memory without LAMP installed

Hello All,

first of all i am linux newbie and english is not my native language. please forgive my bad english.

i've got my vps last week, until yesterday i tried to set it up. i realized that the vps utilized 700+ Mb Memory without LAMP installed. i wondering if this something went wrong somewhere.

i've update/ugrade the vps and restart it yesterday and the the memory usage went down to about 50mb, and this seem pretty reasonable.

somehow, the VPS is utilized the more memory time over time( still without LAMP and the VPS is sitting idle doing noting), until now, it has been increased to 120mb.

VPS :
vmware - 1GB Ram

can someone advice what is going on ?

What do you mean by LAMP not installed? It looks like you already have Linux installed. L.A.M.P Linux Apache MySQL PHP.
