  • WHMCS 6. The only thing that is (personally) useful in the update is the long dreaded responsive admin theme. I mean, they couldn't have just threw in the Bootstrap grid CSS and added a damn container?

Apart from this, SolusVM V2 is what I'm truly excited for :)

Licensecart localhost.re published exploits for hostbill and clientexec too.

Blesta were not touched? Why ? It's because only:

hosts use it! So there is no point to even touch this crap!

    localhost.re looked at Blesta

Does that make sense for you?

Blesta will be never popular due to family members who ignore bugs and you!

What bugs are we ignoring? We are very active with the community through our forums.

  • Alex an SQL injection paid out for. Let's hope they fix it for you fast, before you piss someone off.

Every time there is WHMCS thread Blesta comes up, but is it stopping people from sticking with WHMCS? No.

I was bored so I did an unscientific test and checked 60 offers from different hosts in the offers section on here. Just 1 that is 0.6% used Blesta. Most used WHMCS, couple of HostBill and custom panels.

The point is that I am sure Blesta is good but I did not like it, all of the people I know that tried it stuck with WHMCS or HostBill. Most of those people that got up and said they were leaving WHMCS to Blesta after the big Social Engineering hack event ended up staying with WHMCS.

So no matter how you position it Blesta has no edge, it's big opportunity was when V3.0 came out but it's effect was limited, very limited.

Shout as loud as you like about the faults with WHMCS, very few are listening, there is nothing out there that is making people want to move and it's not going to change any time soon.

I really don't mean or wish anything bad towards Blesta but it's not a player, plain and simple.

WHMCS has become like Windows and Cpanel. You know it's buggy, you know there is probably something better but the familiarity is firmly lodged in people's experience and that is why the likes of Blesta will always be in the shadows.
