So you want to do it by a FTP upload? Faststone capture does that perfectly.
ShareX with FTP
+1 ShareX, works with both ftp&sftp.
You have utterly no idea how long I've wanted to search for something like this but never actually got around to it

I love ShareX been using it for a few months now, works fine
@tronyx I am using https://screencloud.net/ and happy.
Supports both ftp and scp to your own server.
I am using Monosnap together with two key combinations - one just allows you to create a screen and upload it directly, the second one shows the builtin editor first which allows blurring, descriptions and so on.
As I hate using FTP, I went for WebDAV over nginx (HTTPS).

Same over here when I am on my Windows machine, just two or three different screenshots and then uploading the image via SFTP. So +1 for Monosnap, can really recommend it.

I developed my own http server in python to upload screenshots too :-)
Then i just set it up in sharex ( http://andynix.com/0xc1fe73 )
