Best DDoS protected VPS?

I'd like 2 cores 1GB RAM and DDoS protection.
I was think about https://blazingfast.io/ , but it's a bit too low spec for the $5.50 one. Oh, and i'd like it under $7/m.
Thanks!

For low-end, I think the best you will find will be with OVH for Europe.
In America, you can could take a look at BuyVM which uses Voxility.

    Thanks!

Well, i have a server with OVH in Canada, but the mitigation on L4 is BAD. Like, 99% of DDoS gets through. :( and BuyVM is only yearly or the other option is $40 a month witch is way too much for my budget.

  • We can offer you this. PMing you regarding this.

If you are looking for best, you should really increase your budget to >$100 / mo.

You can find a low end, but aren't you expecting too much for $5.50 / mo?

Well, OVH has has what i need for $3/m but... Their mitigation sucks...bad...

Ginernet would come to mind as they use Voxility for DDoS protection and their specs nearly match what you are looking for: http://lowendtalk.com/discussion/43731/ginernet-anti-ddos-vps-5-99-month-voxility#latest

Maybe @jmginer even offers you an additional core for 7$/m on this plan.

There's also zare.co.uk, they also use Voxility but their own network isn't that great: http://zare.co.uk/cloud

    Each protected IP is 3€/month.

On our OVZ-2G-LEB, with 2 cores, 2 GB RAM and 15 GB SSD you can add the AntiDDoS. Then, the result is 7.99€/month

That's what I'm saying. Good DDoS mitigation usually requires manual support from trained engineers as attacks may have various different angles and automated system may not always be sufficient. I don't see a company with such team in-house (or outsourced) delivering the service at this price point.

You may as well stick with OVH on that case and implement some mitigation techniques on your server.

@ZweiTiger won't believe that until I see a prove and mitigation techniques.

(You can do blackholing and defend against 1 000 000 Gbps if you like, problem is - server won't be reachable).

All our KVM VPS plans come with good DDoS protection, and RAID10 pure SSD storage.

If you contact me I can workout a custom quote.

How much DDoS mitigation are you looking for?

  • I can recommend for ddos-protected proxy-servers next providers:

    • OVH
    • BlazingFast

About OVH -> their protection looks good like always, but sometimes their AntiDDoSPRO Fails, and if you have game server -> you got DC, but when protection start to work, you will be totally protected. But the price of this protection: -> delays / lags / packetloss for some countries.

About BlazingFast, they are using Voxility ddos protection, it's tested under heavy DDoS attack, (the online.net got downed by this attack, so i think more then 20+GB per second), and all what i got, it's instant activation, then attack reduced by next 5-30 seconds very well (i think, they have smart filters to block IP which attack you).

And at this time, there are no players who was get DC.

I dont think any provider there at leb prices could provide this. There is only auto mitigations.

@ZweiTiger I definitely agree, therefore surprised some people are surprised that $3 / mo DDoS mitigation is not filtering all the attack traffic.

I see all suggest their protection as best protection in the world, or user saying "this is the best".... but nobody asked you:

    • what do you need to protect?
    • what kind of attacks you receive?

Best protection ever does not exist, but you can find the best for your needs.

Based on reply users can suggest you better

We do, you can simply enable L7 Mitigation in our customer area ;)

Once enabled, the L7 Filter hijacks all HTTP(S) Traffic on Port 80 and 443 towards to your server ip, doing some verification of your humanity. It acts like a transparent reverseproxy at network level.
