Is there any easiest mail server for a 64m small vps?

I used to try postfix or qmail but they're too complex for me.

  • I wouldn't try mailinabox unless you have more RAM.. with 64MB, your running as small as you can, and will not be able to do any spam or virus filtering on that machine. It would make for a good backup MX for a low volume domain or two, but again, manual configuration is required.

  • Not to sound like wht but you need 1024GB of RAM to host a static website. 4096GB for mail server.

All kidding aside 512MB is lowest i would say with mailinabox 1GB is likely best.

That doesn't even install if you don't have at least 768MB RAM.

Just mod the install script. 512 OVZ is fine. But 768 KVM

  • I always found Postfix pretty easy, or Exim4

@Greyhound Give some time to Postfix "How to documentation" it's easy once you have some basic knowledge of postfix.

Can you clarify what you're trying to do? Maybe someone can help you with Postfix to get you going...
