Suggest a decent Dedi for a CRM only?
I currently run the CRM from my works laptop (sugarcrm) it's not ideal as the laptop is fairly "business" style and therefore reasonably budget. I'm thinking about moving it to a dedi as the size of the database grows.
Wondering if anyone has any experience of SugarCRM on a dedi/provider and what a sensible spec might be?
Obviously it needs to be reliable (although taking daily backups I could restore to my laptop version if necessary)
The only other thought I had would be to host it from home.
Thanks
PMs welcome.

Depends on how many users will use it, but please consult with SugarCRM Sizing Guidelines here https://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Knowledge_Base/01Getting_Started/Guidelines_for_On-Site_Hardware_Size_Requirements/Sizing Document 04-13-01-LR.PDF
You can find 8-16GB RAM with nice pricing in the Offer section
We can offer some great quality Dedicated Servers, currently on sale: https://www.clouvider.co.uk/dedicated-servers-sale
We have had a few customers running Sugar and also SuiteCRM. Most have started with our basic blade server Dual X5150, 16GB RAM so that they have some memory for caching. RAID1 (2x500GB disk) and some have used our R1Soft backup so that they have live backups running. This scales up quite nicely as it grows, you can take the disks and move to L5420, L5520, E5 and so on. Or just add RAM as you need.
PM me and I'll run through some of the configs with you
How big is the database?
My friend's 60 employee company runs it on our shared hosting with about 10-15 people accessing it every hour.
It's tiny - something I used to use in a previous work place to manage my clients.
I guess there could be up to three users at any given time but realistically it's probably just me.
