virtualizor (OpenVZ) /vz/private and /vz/root, Disk space problem

comebackcomeback Member

Hello,

In virtualizor (OpenVZ), I see "Storage: 475 GB / 5450 GB"

I have 1 VPS and uses only 198 GB.

I looked, and I saw that the files are in double

/vz/private and /vz/root

As I understand it, with OpenVZ, twice the disk space is used?

Or am I wrong?

Thank you for your help

/vz/root is virtual, it doesn't take space.

  • I do not speak English well.

    I have not really understood.

Can you explain to me easily.

    thank you

So there an error in the calculation of disk space?

How to know the true size?

    @comeback du -s -h /vz/private - this is the used diskspace.
    Or just df -h /vz

    Thank you for your help.

    I launched the command

    df -h /vz

    I have

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
    /dev/mapper/vg_vz1506-LogVol02
    5.4T 204G 4.9T 4% /vz

With virtualizor I have this result

    Storage 480 GB / 5450 GB

    This is a bug?

    merci
