VirtualBox on OpenVZ

Member
As we know, the OpenVZ containers run on node's kernel, so it's impossible to run VirtualBox (as it needs modded kernel). However I wonder is there any way to run it? There are dirty moves like OVZ->QEMU->VBOX, but I thought about a bit cleaner methods. ;-)
PS. "May 13th, 2015 VirtualBox 4.3.28 released!" if someone didn't notice it yet.

No.
Just install docker if you want something related to virtualization working .................. but if you just wanna test try to install it
qemu works
virtualbox no, qemu certainly (but providers do not like this)
Seriously, stop trying to nest any virtualization inside OpenVZ. Even docker works like crap
OpenVZ isn't virtualization, it's just a bunch of ACLs in the kernel. You can't nest virtualization in something that is anything but virtualization.
QEMU works, depending on provider and node overcrowding, can even run windows, albeit slowish.
It is not like providers are against it per se, personally, as long as load is within the number of cores, dont care, but that is not the case, the load will go high, even with plenty of ram.
