    @rchurch

    test.vpsnodebox.com/100mb.bin - non cloudflare

    www.vpsnodebox.com/100mb.bin - works trough CF because of how our website is setup.

    What is the setup time?
    I just purchased a KVM 1024.

  • The following errors occurred:

    The promotion code entered has expired

    @Radik Try it again ;) We never leave promo codes open, but I just went in there and renewed it.

    Thanks,
    Marc

  • Two things have changed since we launched this offer:
    1) We do not support Windows anymore. Too many people don't want to bother reading what used to be written in big bold red letters on our FAQ page: "We do not provide a Windows Server license".

    2) All new KVM VPS servers are placed on Dual Xeon E5 (12 cores/24 threads) with hardware RAID-10 - Windows free.

    We have added support for NetBSD.

    Thank you,
    Marc

    Thank you!

  • @Radik You're more than welcome. If you just placed an order, please rest assured that as soon as another E5 node is ready we will deploy your VPS on it.

    When approximately the E5 node will be ready?

    @Radik It's ready :)

  • Here is a SerberBear.com benchmark that we just did on a Xeon E5 node (which is almost full by the way):

    UnixBench score: 2736.3

    I/O rate: 179.0 MB/second

    Bandwidth rate: 6.4 MB/second

    The rest is here: http://serverbear.com/benchmark/2012/10/02/GSvjJx1ATVWUFy4d

    Each VPS comes with a 50Mbit private network connection – we don’t leave them open for bursting so that everyone gets plenty of bandwidth. 50Mbit = 6.3 to 6.4 MB/s

    With 12 cores and 24 threads per server performance is extremely consistent.
