Need to fix ratio in private torrent tracker.

Hello,

I need a solution for fixing my ratio in a private tracker.
I don't know which one is better VPS, Seedbox, or Dedicated server.

Requirements

1TB HDD or 512GB SSD-Cached

2TB+ Transfer

My budget for one of the following is.

Seedbox is $10/month

VPS is $7/month

Dedi $27/month

--

I think I should avoid a VPS, because I don't want to mess with other peoples VPS performance.

1 TB HDD and 2 TB bw for $7/month? lol... Or were those specs for a dedi?

Kimsufi should do the trick. The KS-2 dedicated was (maybe still is) deploying with 2TB HDs @ 10 euro/mo.

TBH, is you're going to be mostly seeding, you're probably not going to be upsetting too many people unless the torrents are incredibly popular.

  • kimsufi would be perfect for you.

  • If I order a kimsufi in the NA area would they need to deal with any DMCA complaints? or... do I need to stick with ordering from their EU site.

Canada is fine, but from my experience it's really hard to get Canadian node from kimsufi.
I have ks1 and ks3 , all from FR, and it was already hard to get.

  • Normally KS-3/4's are available all the time in CA (like right now).

  • Sent you a PM.

  • Anyone know if these QuadIX servers allow torrents?
Also, for hetzner I am reading that people torrent, but they don't allow torrents (or so some people say).

Didn't you say private tracker? Never heard of DMCA complaints on private trackers.

Yea, private tracker, but... how does the NSA not have access to that? Regardless of if it is private or not, I am sure the NSA still sends the complaints to the right people.

  • The NSA does not send DMCA at all, the NSA is focused on anti terror things.

If you only want to torrent on private trackers, any dedi will be fine, although you would probably want it in Europe (OVH/LeaseWeb/Online) since that's where most seedboxes are located.

You will not get DMCA unless you are using a very big "private" tracker (and even then, it's not very likely).

  • I've never had trouble using any provider as a seedbox, but if you need that much space I would go with Kimsufi.

Lol this really is getting ridiculous now.

The NSA don't care if you download films or watch porn, and they don't go through your emails for a laugh.

    They don't care about DMCA

That's a lot of pr0n fella, just make sure to switch hands everyone once in a while or you're going to have one arm that looks like it belongs to Pop-Eye on spinach.
