Ami IPMI

Does anyone know which version Of Java works with the Jviewer crap that the AMI/Asrock IPMI boards use for their KVMoIP function?

Comments

  • I think 1.6

  • XP and 1.6 probably, same as for old Dell.

  • It actually worked on 8U40 in the end it wasn't the Java it was Eset Smart Security, no idea what it was doing as it wasn't reporting that it was blocking anything but when I un installed it the Jviewer client loaded properly and started working.

Only did it on a hunch following a problem I had flashing a DSL modem a few weeks back (Again it was ESET interfering even when firewall/on-access scanning was disabled)
