  • Ramnode is a more established company and probably more financially stable so I would go with that.

You can't install owncloud in ramnode 128mb plan. Go with crissic 512mb one. If you don't want owncloud and have some other simple php file uploader / rsync / dropboxsync / hubicsync in mind, go with ramnode. They are too good.

  • Ramnode. Its SSD cached & its 128 mb ram works better than Crissic's 512mb.

But i got to run one wordpress site with a MySQL and owncloud u think i can fit in

  • Note that ownCloud is extremely heavy application, even with its core modules only (talking of both 7 and 8 major versions). Unless you really need its functionality in full, install only server-side sync/storage software of your choice and feel happy.

Talking of providers, I have positive experience with both.

ramnode is great, but in this comparison crissic offers more ram, space and traffic for less money. I'd go with crissic therefore, if locations fit the needs...

I bought the Crissic based on everyone's raved reviews.. but somewhat disappointed as some days the I/O can be as low as 9MB/s.. Fine for a backup server.

    Update:

Sorry I've been posting all the wrong info there.. edited now. been a long day!!

    9MB/s for Pure SSD?

That could also be a bad thing, because why is it cheaper with more resources?

Not trying to throw mud here, but if one of the two were unpopular providers many would call the cheaper plan unsustainable.

I had this plan in crissics florida location for nearly a year, just for the storage and some development purposes, decent performance, can't remember any issues... I've only given it up, because I don't need it anymore an already have to much VPSs, but would go with it again, if needed ;-)

I have a 256MB/120G plan from ramnode too, so as said they are very great too and offer europe location...

one have probably to make his own choice or just get both deals and gluster one to another ;-)

nope ! I once installed wordpress on LAMP/LNMP/lowendscript - Crissic (512mb ram) and mysql still crashed all the time. Ram usage was too high all the time. I don't know why , but i have same thing (rather 4 wp blogs) running on ipsystem 512 mb plan & it runs flawless.
