Ramnode is a more established company and probably more financially stable so I would go with that.
You can't install owncloud in ramnode 128mb plan. Go with crissic 512mb one. If you don't want owncloud and have some other simple php file uploader / rsync / dropboxsync / hubicsync in mind, go with ramnode. They are too good.
Ramnode for sure, crissic is very strictly
Ramnode for sure.. I have both plans you mentioned..
Ramnode. Its SSD cached & its 128 mb ram works better than Crissic's 512mb.
I to have that thinking but in Crissic 512 ram 2Tb transfer that y its hard to make a choise
Exactly thats whats makes me hard to decide
have u got VPS with Crissic pls post some bechmarks i don't have any exp with both companys
hi can u pls post some bench marks thanks
But i got to run one wordpress site with a MySQL and owncloud u think i can fit in
Note that ownCloud is extremely heavy application, even with its core modules only (talking of both 7 and 8 major versions). Unless you really need its functionality in full, install only server-side sync/storage software of your choice and feel happy.
Talking of providers, I have positive experience with both.
ramnode is great, but in this comparison crissic offers more ram, space and traffic for less money. I'd go with crissic therefore, if locations fit the needs...
i can't go wrong with both providers thanks @Master_Bo
thanks @Falzo ur correct Ramnode with high reputation Crissic with great offer Drives me crazy
Gladly
Ramnode - Atlanta
This is actually their older plan that's not available any longer.. but I'll leave it here anyways.
This is the current plan with the E5 and 80 GB HD
Crissic Jacksonville
I bought the Crissic based on everyone's raved reviews.. but somewhat disappointed as some days the I/O can be as low as 9MB/s.. Fine for a backup server.
Update:
Sorry I've been posting all the wrong info there.. edited now. been a long day!!
9MB/s for Pure SSD?
That could also be a bad thing, because why is it cheaper with more resources?
Not trying to throw mud here, but if one of the two were unpopular providers many would call the cheaper plan unsustainable.
The Crissic is plain HD no SSD.. At least I think
My mistake, was looking at their website.
Huh? Mine works fine. Using about ~20 MB of ram on idle.
No worries..
I had this plan in crissics florida location for nearly a year, just for the storage and some development purposes, decent performance, can't remember any issues... I've only given it up, because I don't need it anymore an already have to much VPSs, but would go with it again, if needed ;-)
I have a 256MB/120G plan from ramnode too, so as said they are very great too and offer europe location...
one have probably to make his own choice or just get both deals and gluster one to another ;-)
Thanks man i think Crissic bench mark is posted as same as ramnode i will take ur word for the Crissic Thanks
I'm currently using the Crissic offer as a samba share for my photography and for my website. I chose Jacksonville, Florida for the location since I'm in Florida as well. I like it so far.

nope ! I once installed wordpress on LAMP/LNMP/lowendscript - Crissic (512mb ram) and mysql still crashed all the time. Ram usage was too high all the time. I don't know why , but i have same thing (rather 4 wp blogs) running on ipsystem 512 mb plan & it runs flawless.
**Thanks for the Benchmark man **that kind of IO is more than want i have expected but is the **support **good
thanks @earl thanks for putting your time to make me right choice
Guys i think u all have seen the polls final results show both are best and every one gave your valuable feed back and discussion My sincere gratitude to You all
I am planning to take both First Crissic offer then Next Ramnode offer
I have this ramnode... :O which I no longer use. Still left 6 month.
