You should try it. Ver. 6 had (at least on my mac) for everything you did a little, but noticeable lag. Click, wait. Click, wait. Not for the terminal itself, but for the GUI. That's completely gone in v7 now.
That was the reason why I never used scrt on mac, I will try the 7, thanks.
