Cloudflare and cPanel Mail can't receive mail
Hi,
I've been using Google Apps for my mail for years, but I've always wanted to know how to resolve this issue.
If you use cPanel to host a website, and enable Cloudflare from Cloudflare.com (turn the clouds orange), you can no longer receive emails.
But you can send them fine.
As soon as you turn the Clouds grey, you can start receiving emails again.
How can this issue be resolved?
Current records set in Cloudflare are
A record @ IPAddress
and
CNAME WWW domain.com

You need a separate record for your MX which isn't under Cloudflare protection.
What would the MX IP be? The cPanel server IP? Or do cPanel servers have their own dedicated MX IP.
@xaitmi Typically the Cpanel Server IP - Unless "I've been using Google Apps for my mail for years" is true for this case, and you are wanting to use Google Apps. In which case...

I tried that a few days ago, it works fine if I turn the clouds grey, if the clouds are orange i cant receive mail
For MX you should never enable cloudflare as it masks the ip so mail doesn't know where to go.
That's incorrect, the MX record should point to pop.readydedi.com if it's not got cloudflare enabled on that A record.
@xaitmi this works fine for me.
