No it's not. If you have a problem, please submit a ticket.

    Seattle Node:

    0.44, 0.54, 0.51
  • @joodle it went above 30 and currently off.

    Question:

    1. Are existing VPS parameters adjustable?

Once I create a VPS, can I later adjust its RAM, disk space, and bandwidth up or down?

    2. Can an existing VPS be migrated to a different location?

If I deploy a VPS to the LA location, can i later migrate it to the Netherlands location?

These are certainly not deal breakers, more "wish list" items.

    Thanks!

    Fast nodes, solid network

But I think their lines are not optimized Asia

    China Telecom support is slow

Don't know about china but the connection to singapore is pretty good.

China Unicom is about 175ms ping this summer, from Shenyang. Telecom was 140ms in Beijing for me, again this summer, though I've only been there for a week and only tested a couple of times at night.

I personally find their nodes with swiftnode have better ping compared to most other providers, even quadranet has (slightly, about 20ms) higher ping than swiftnode.

For the Normal ones on EvoBurst.com yes, for the black friday ones, they are static.
But, all modifications (ram upgrade/downgrade etc) have to be filed in by ticket (as the module we use is not capable of doing this.

It can be migrated by ticket request. otherwise you will have to destroy & recreate.

And yes, from my side too (in Australia) latency to EvoBurst LA (On Fevvo Network) is lower latency then that of Quadranet's Asia Optimized Network.

agree, with China Telecom, for other US VPS ping 150 ms, evoburst 250 ms

That is a BudgetVZ server @john564 - Current discussion is about EvoBurst servers.

And what seems to be targeted at the LA Service.

    Ping below is into Beijing

I don't see a problem with my megavz server. It could be that at the time you did the test, there are others using the server OR the speedtest server you chose is bad.

EvoBurst in LA (not any other brand) has access to direct ChinaTelecom transit from LA both incoming (from China --> to LA) and outgoing (LA --> to China).
Performance to ChinaTelecom, from Los Angeles, at EvoBurst, should be great.

If it's not, don't forget that CT and CU both have shit networks internally and even if there's no problems in LA, as soon as it gets to the Mainland it probably hits issues :S

Is the roy in your company the same as the roy who runs royhost.cn?

No... and you can also see that http://royhost.cn/network.html is not hosted on our network, but a network 1 block up the street.

Now I have to know though -- why do you ask?

Ha, because I just finished my term paper and felt boring, and this is 4am, so I log on LET to look around, and I see your reply.

Nothing serious, I just know a person who works for royhost.cn ..

  • Is evoburst vps allow adult content? i can't find in their tos.

  • simonindiasimonindia Member
    edited November 2015

@artman They mostly allow things that are not stated in the TOS but get this if the adult content is pirated OR not allowed for you to use their work then not evoburst or other decent providers will not allow you
But about your question @AutoSnipe can clarify this

as this the TOS of evoburst

    EvoBurst VPS Servers

Spamming (including search engine spam, doorways, form spamming, etc.)
Mass mailing of any type (including double opt-in)
DoS or other attacks (either outgoing or incoming)
Hacking (including situations when your VPS was hacked)
Distribution of malware/viruses - with or without knowledge
Port scanning, Brute Force attempts, etc.
Copyrighted content/mp3/movies/cracked software or links to such content
        Torrents (Clients, Trackers or Indexers)
        Nested virtualization (running Qemu, etc)
        Traffic Exchanges (Hitleap/AutoSurf/etc)
Open Proxies (Web etc due to High Abuse Rates)
Data mining (due to heavy I/O usage)

  • I am familiar with HE.net and Sixxs, but I do want to run my own IPv6 tunnel broker.
Is it possible to receive a /48 or at least a /56 instead of the /64 prefix? @autosnipe
So i could create my own Subnets as i want and need them.

  • Hey @cave,

Unfortunately at the current point in time that's not offered, although, I am hoping that come early next year we will have a new line out, which will match what you need perfectly.
