[WIP] RouterVPN 2 Go - Multi-protocol VPN with cheap prices - FREE codes while beta!

netomxnetomx Moderator, Veteran

IT IS WIP so a lot of things are broken!

RouterVPN 2 Go is a multi-protocol and multi-platform VPN service. It runs Softether, so it supports:

  • SSTP
  • L2TP w/ and w/o encryption
  • OpenVPN with multiple ports
  • VPN over ICMP
  • Softether VPN

Currently, webpage is in a WIP, and the Control Panel is simple, but functional.

The free codes are tied to an email address, so there's just 1 code per email. They expire in 24 hours after the activation. also, there's a 100MB quota on every account, and then it will be suspended. You can check your current usage in the control panel. Please, no disposable emails.

I will just gather your email address, the password is hashed with password_hash PHP function.

Request your access code here: https://www.routervpn.us/cp/request.php

Control panel: https://www.routervpn.us/cp/

Steps:

  1. Request a code
  2. Enter to the CP and register a new account.

PLEASE report bugs to: [email protected]

Prices MAY BE:

Date - MB - Price
1 day - 100MB - $1
30 days - 500MB - $3
90 days - 1.5GB - $5

What do you think?

P.S. I may add a function to send an email to receive a free 20MB, just to log and pay for the service. Useful if you're already in a blocked country.

  • Would be cool if someone sold like a device that'll tunnel a WiFi_AP Into the VPN and broadcast a secured WiFi_AP, Same for Ethernet connections also.

It looks like it can be achieved with a Raspberry Pi, WiFi Module, Battery Pack

Just need to make it consumer friendly and look pretty in some decent enclosure :P

Let me know if you come out with something.

Nah, I'm recycling a name I want to promote on Mexico :p

  • To be honest, this is nearly the price of mobile data.
IMO you shouldn't have a time limit for how long they take to use the bandwidth as its already so miniscule

Agree, its almost the same price as my mobile data plan. Lol.

Maybe, add an option for volume based plan? So, people can buy, let's say, 1GB of data plan, and could use it whenever they want. Just an idea though :)

    My idea
    Implement two options for pricing:
    1. Set monthly price with unlimited traffic each month.
    2. Whatever @sirmbhe said.

    Who would use PPTP?

  • seems rather expensive and not completely done. http://puu.sh/gzH6E/bb0d7573df.png

My phone. I don't have root to install tun.ko driver for OpenVPN.

  • Free code lasts too long for me.

  • Why your traffic is so expensive?

I'm also working with somebody on this. Going to be another couple of months until it's brought to market, but so far it's looking very positive. I have devices in hand that are doing this right now.

    How about:

    1GB - 180 days - limited to 5Mbps - $1
    Unlimited - 365 days - limited to 5Mbps - $3
    Unlimited - 365 days - limited to 10Mbps - $5
    Unlimited - 365 days - limited to 50Mbps - $9

    Limited to 1 concurrent login.

And some free Mb per day for free users... idk, just an idea.

  • Unlimited plans I definitely would buy.
