there is a com domain about gardening and its google rank 3-7 in its words. get virused a while ago and now ok, indexing by google. has 60 visitors in a day says owner but it seems 20 some

You want to earn money the best, cheapest and fastest way? Get an ipxcore 64 MB vps( @Damian), setup mail server, start selling viagra and penis enlargement pills :P. Now, if they suspend you or terminate withour refund, thats a different stroy.
But , really anything can be a niche. For example, setup a sheep blog and market it to the people from Welsh..
Hmm, on a thought on my comment, since people sell penis enlargement medication, can't they sell vagina reducing drugs? :P
I understand now what you're doing. I got a lot of these websites. There's already a lot of info on the internet about it. Never read a book about it, I'm good at internet marketing though but never read a book specifically designed for as you call it ''niche websites''.
Read up on internet marketing, copy righting and that kind of stuff.

Well, I think you can go studying to use google adwords keyword finder and google insight. If you can use them, you have your own way to research some keyword you want. Not all keywords with a huge search result is the king, just a keyword with a few search results but have a right targeted market is the real king.
