freeNAS Single Disk

I was planning on installing freeNAS to a Backupsy KVM this morning. I haven't installed freeNAS for a while now, so I was surprised to learn that freeNAS 9.2 seems to have stopped support for allowing installation on a single disk, and instead requires a second disk/usb drive/etc to hold the freeNAS install.

However, backupsy still has the freeNAS isos avaliable.

Is there actually some way to install it (I really love freenas), or is it actually not working?
