  • "webmail" (=web panel for email?) can be very easily implemented with squirrelmail (it uses imap).

    is there any tutorials?

I have not used it in a long while, but I think this should do:

    1. download squirrel mail and upload it to a webserver with PHP
    2. go to "config" folder and copy config_default.php to config.php
    3. add your imap information to config file

Maybe you need to install php5-imap on your webserver

  • In fact, it is very easy. Did you setup email accounts in your domain? If yes, then, follow this step to autoinstall roundcube and use it as webmail:

On Virtualmin tab (there are two tabs in the top left of the page) Select "Install Scpripts".
There, you will see some options for installing PhpMyAdmin, Roundcube and SquirrelMail.
Press the green play button right next to roundcube and, voila! You just installed your webmail!

  • @4n0nx Virtualmin has already installed all that. You don't have to download anything. Just the webmail script (roundcube either squirell) are there and and just have to be installed by manual order. Besides that, all the progress is automated.

  • @wlcy001 Just forgot that: If you don't want to install roundcube or squirell, there is already a mail interface installed by default with webmin/virtualmin. You just have to use address https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:20000 instead of https://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:10000 accessing the webmail interface. This feature is called "usermin" and as I said, it is there by default.

  • hi. i did install roundcube through the available scripts at the top level with the default name roundcube. it points out that i can access roundcube at the http://mydomain.com/roundcube. unfortunatelly when i fire at my browser http://mydomain.com/roundcube nothing comes up. is there anything else that i have to enable?
