PPTP VPN Problem

Hello,

I've already enabled TUN/TAP,PPP modules in SolusVM Panel, and in VPS looks fine, but when I finished instaill PPTP VPN,I cannot connect to the server, and then I tried to find the error log,the log

vim /var/log/pptpd.log

Plugin /usr/lib/pptpd/pptpd-logwtmp.so loaded.
Couldn't open the /dev/ppp device: No such device or address

How can I do to fix the problem?

Regards.

  • Try disable it from Solus again. Reboot from Solus. Then enable and reboot from Solus once more.

    Sometimes Solus mess up things.

Already done this, but the problem still.

  • If under OpenVZ, try to contact your provider to check if the module has been enable on the host node.
