install custom iso, xen, openvz ?

is it possible to partition your harddisk and mount an iso, and change initsomething thing to start from iso partition and install the iso to other partition?

i want to install turnkey.

Well here's a post from May which talks about installing custom OS for KVMs, if that interests you (I don't think it works for OvZ or Xen)

What do you man by recovery?
If your using Xen HVM or KVM, you could boot a recovery ISO of some kind...
