How to test for symmetric bandwidth

Hi All,

As a being VoIP Developers we often receive complaints from our clients that your software drop calls under heavy load. after investigation which always conclude that it was the limited bandwidth from their hosting side, which caused this.

My question is that, Is there a way / tool by using which, our client can determine any bandwidth limitation with their hosting / server provider?

Please note that for VoIP we need a tool which can test for symmetric bandwidth ( can test with incoming and outgoing traffic at the same time )

Ping. VoIP calls are pretty low bandwidth.

Also reduced bandwidth wouldn't result in dropped (as in terminated) calls. It would result in bad voice quality.
