Wholesale Internet reviews?

Hope everyone had a nice weekend.

I thought I'd ask the community how they feel about Wholesale Internet's dedicated servers.

1) How's their support if issues arise?

2) Server performance, uptime?

3) Network?

4) Other thoughts?

  • They're a fantastic budget supplier.

I'd rate them as fantastic.. Never had a problem with them at all..

  • I had their Pentium 4 Storage Server for 3 months. Had 100% uptime, no problems with them at all. I'd rate them as excellent.

    1) Semi good

    2) Well it's budget servers

    3) Horrible, just utterly horrible.

Used them for about 2.3 years and their network was my reason to move, it just got worse and worse and they promised to fix it over and over again.

I have a server there for 2 years.

    1) Good initial response times but I hardly need any support except for an occasional hard reset when I effed-up things.

    2) Pretty good

    3) Average but still OK for the price if you have a cheap server there

  • I gave decent, they seem to have a couple network or power hiccups per year, but acceptable for the price. Never had to use their support myself once provisioned as they are unmanaged (and have had no hardware failures) but they seem to be on the ball when others have had issues. Value for $$$ is certainly there, just expect a network or power blip (they seem to have really bad luck with their ups/generator systems) from time to time, but again kinda expected at the price point.

  • 1) Fast initial support, slower follow ups.
    2) 99% with one scheduled downtime of few hours due to some upgrades.
    3) Terrible, but used it only for backup.
